Deep ruby red with purple hues. An expressive and intense nose with concentrated notes of berries and rose. Explosive and fruity on the palate. The Mumelter Cabernet is a wine that is not to be forgotten. This cuvée combines the best characteristics of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc to form a full-bodied, elegant and harmonious wine. The vines stand on the slopes above Bolzano, where they flourish at 330 meters above sea-level on the unique nourishing mix delivered by the eroded porphyry. Following traditional red wine fermentation in wooden vats, the young wine matures for about a year in French barriques and in large wooden barrels.
