Pinot Nero has been cultivated in Alto Adige for the last one hundred years. The warm and well-ventilated sites on the Renon above Bolzano yield a well structured and elegant Pinot Nero.
The Renon above Bolzano
After traditional fermentation of the must in wooden vats, the wine spends six months maturing in French oak barriques followed by aging in the bottle.
Color: intense ruby
Aroma: fruity aromas of deep-red cherry, berries and plum; spicy hints of cinnamon and clove with a whiff of vanilla and tobacco
Taste: full-flavored with a velvety mouthfeel and smooth tannins
